Notes:
In 1919, the Ontario Government contributed $350 000 towards the construction of a building for the increasingly-popular courses in electrical engineering. Construction was quick and the building was opened in 1920.
The building is named after Thomas Reeve Rosebrugh (1866-1943) who was the first Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering (1900-1936).
Rosebrugh Building was listed on the Toronto Heritage Property Register in 1973.
Only a small corner of the Rosebrugh Building's exterior remains easily visible, due to buildings on most sides of the Rosebrugh. However, one of the exterior walls was cleaned and is highlighted from the interior of the Terrence Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research, where it forms one of the walls.
