Per a Globe and Mail article published on 27 November 2020, Rogers is considering demolition of the existing Rogers Centre (formerly known as Skydome) stadium as part of a new re-development. While no formal re-development plans have been filed yet, ongoing media narratives indicate that a new stadium (smaller in size) may be built on the site, alongside condominiums.
