TOBuilt is a crowd-sourced database of images and information about buildings and structures in Toronto. Anyone interested in Toronto’s built heritage can explore the over 11 000 entries. We encourage users to share their own research, information, and images to help expand the database.
Robert Krawczyk created TOBuilt in 2006 to answer the question: “Who built that building?” and established the first 10 000 entries. ACOToronto acquired and relaunched the site in 2015 and it has grown ever since.
TOBuilt is a platform for users to both learn from and contribute to at the same time. It is our hope that consolidating this community research will help facilitate the protection of Toronto’s architectural heritage for future generations.
If you have any questions about TOBuilt, please visit our FAQ page or send us an email at tobuilt@acotoronto.ca.
