Completed in 1922, originally known as Beth Jacob Synagogue. The congregation was located on Elm Street in a smaller building before moving to the present location.  This was the first synagogue in Toronto to be designed by a Jewish architect, Benjamin Brown.  The building features stained glass, a vaulted domed ceiling, and a retractable roof that was used for Sukkoth.  It is now home to Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church.
